The Assistant Controller is responsible for supporting the overall accounting process including the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of all accounting records. Specific responsibilities will include managing the quarterly billing process, revenue projections, annual year-end financial audit and annual qualified retirement plan audit. This position will oversee accounting processes such as accounts payable and expense reporting. Additional responsibilities will include preparation of payroll, fixed asset tracking and other miscellaneous projects.
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required
Two plus years of accounting experience required
Supervisory experience preferred
Strong communication, problem solving and organizational skills
Advanced working knowledge of Excel
CPA license a plus
Candidates must be self-motivated and able to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
Demonstrated initiative and a willingness to increase knowledge and take on additional responsibilities
