Locations: San Francisco office (MUST relocate - up to $10,000 in relocation reimbursement). NO TRAVEL (maybe 5 nights per year at most).
Compensation: From $110,000 to $165,000 (more for Senior Mgr) based on experience.
Organize, conduct, and manage audits mainly consisting of Non-Profits and Employee Benefit Plans.
Also engage in compilations and reviews.
Manage teams of 3-4 people on multiple engagements simultaneously, while maintaining time and budgets.
Work directly with Partners on high escalated engagements.
Prepare report of audit findings and discuss with client areas of improvement in controls. Prepare financial statements, including footnotes, and tax returns.
Review work papers and audit reports prepared by other auditors.
Assist management with training new auditors.
Conduct all audit engagements according to generally accepted auditing standards.
Attend CPE seminars to stay up-to-date on changes and new rules.
The Audit Supervisor/Manager oversees audit staff during audits and control consulting engagements that evaluate corporate management and operating practices.
Oversees audit planning, field work, and audit reporting; prepares reports, and communicates findings and recommendations to line and senior management.
Review automated audit work papers prepared by the audit staff to ensure sound audit theory and compliance with the Firm's methodology.
Responsible for the daily supervision of audit staff and responsible for the development of audit staff and the completion of performance evaluations.
Non-Profit Organizations and Employee Benefits Plans industry experience (will train if none).
Five (5) to ten (10) years of audit experience in public accounting REQUIRED.
Professional audit certifications, CPA REQUIRED.
BS Degree REQUIRED.
Demonstrated technical abilities in select areas (audit, accounting, regulatory, compliance, etc.)
Good analytical, interpersonal, time management, research, great verbal/written English and communications skills.
Must be able to view controls issues and concerns from the perspective of the Audit Committee and Senior Management
