Assist with the monthly corporate accounting close process including reconciling intercompany and investment in subsidiary balances, corporate-segment allocations, intercompany revenue/expense eliminations, accounts payable reconciliations, etc.
Draft various internal reporting documents on a monthly basis; this involves direct involvement with upper level management who review and use this report monthly
Work with Accounting Teams and Operations Management to analyze and understand financial results compared to budget/forecast
Work with financial reporting and operational accounting departments as necessary
Complete various technical accounting procedures in conjuncture with our external reporting requirements including impairment analysis, lease evaluations, and related party analysis
Prepare and disseminate Ad Hoc reports used by upper level management as needed

Must have 2-3 years of relevant work experience in accounting
General ledger and monthly close processes
Bachelor’s degree in accounting (preferred)
CPA license preferred
Possess strong written and oral communication skills
Possess strong financial, analytical, and problem solving skills
Must have attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects on a daily basis
Experience in Great Plains is preferred
Experience working with complex financial instruments and/or accounting principles
Strong working knowledge of MS Excel
