Under the direction of the NA Senior Manager, Accounts Receivable, the Team Lead has responsibility for managing and supervising the activities of the Accounts Receivable function, which includes the following areas: deduction management and resolution, order block management, Financial Analyst activities (including contract loads, maintenance, and customer payments), as well as, Accounts Receivable controls. In addition to daily support of the business and working towards established goals, the Team Lead is responsible for: monitoring all operational controls to ensure compliance with established procedures and approval levels, ensuring systems that interface to SAP are reconciled timely, providing value-added reporting and metric measurement to support AR management and the improvement of key work processes.
Managing, coaching and leadership of AR team members
Support for daily problem solving and issues resolution
Support operational metric reporting and review
Support for Business Unit strategic initiatives
Identify and support Process Improvement
BS/BA in Accounting/Finance/Business required
5+ years progressive broad based financial analysis experience
2-3 years managing, leading, and/or developing dynamic work teams
Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment in high pressure, sensitive situations
Demonstrated problem solving skills including Root Cause Analysis
Strong working knowledge of SAP (ERP), MS Excel and basic proficiency of Power Point & Word
Excellent analytical, communication and organization skills
Excellent theoretical and practical knowledge of different financial and analytical techniques and the capability to plan own work and respect deadlines
Ability to operate and communicate effectively across multiple functions
MBA or CPA highly preferred
