ITCON Services is seeking an energetic, flexible, and versatile accounting professional to join our corporate team at our headquarters in Washington, DC.
Manage and execute accounting needs including Payroll, AR/AP, bank reconciliations, deposits, payment processing and invoicing.
Reconcile vendor statements, research, and correct discrepancies.
Process and schedule timely payment of invoices for purchases and expenses.
Process internal payroll on a bi-weekly basis.
Manage project financials in Unanet accounting system.
Develop pricing and financial models/templates using Microsoft Excel.
Support HR functions as needed.
Bachelor’s Degree (Finance, Accounting or related area of study).
2+ years of accounting and bookkeeping including: Payroll, AR/AP, bank reconciliations, deposits, payment processing and invoicing.
1+ years of hands on experience with accounting systems such as Unanet or Deltek.
1+ years working with government contracting firms.
Microsoft Excel – Advanced level.
Ability to work flexible hours in a deadline-driven environment.
Understanding of common contract types: FFP, T&M, LH, CPFF, etc.
Strong analytical and negotiating skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to multi-task effectively.
Excellent oral and written communication and customer service skills.
Well versed in employment law, and other government compliance regulations.
Experienced in Federal government contract pricing.
Understanding of financial project management.
Experience in administration of HR programs, including but not limited to, benefits, retirement, compensation and performance management.
