Big Bend Telephone Company, located in Alpine, TX, is seeking a Controller.This key position will report to the Chief Financial Officer and be responsible for the day-to-day financial operations which include, but are not limited to, assisting in and overseeing month end close process, regulatory reporting, budgeting assistance, accounts receivable and payable, and coordination of audit functions. In addition, the Controller will supervise the warehouse and supply department.Must be able to manage multiple projects and communicate well with customers and employees.
Candidates should have a BA or BS in Accounting or Finance, CPA preferred plus five years at a CPA firm and/or management level accounting.Five years of experience in telecommunications industry is a plus.Big Bend Telephone Company has approximately 6,000 connections, 52 employees and prides itself on a culture of work/life balance.
