What you’ll do:
The International Tax Manager (ITM) assists the Corporate Tax Director in preparing/reviewing all international tax filings for the parent corporation and its subsidiaries, and in preparing the foreign portion of the tax provision for financial statement reporting. In addition, the ITM reviews all transfer pricing and BEPS documentation prior to finalization and submission to tax authorities. The ITM oversees our foreign subsidiaries with regard to tax related calculations and audits, and provide support to the Corporate Tax Director with tax audits, financial statement reporting and special projects. This position will primarily focus on the international portion of US taxes, and requires the ability to work with limited supervision in a team environment.

Manage the US international tax compliance process, including preparation/review of international tax work papers of federal income tax returns for US Compliance, including foreign income inclusions
Prepare/review 5471’s for all foreign subsidiaries reported through OneStream
Prepare Form 1118 and other international portion of federal income tax returns utilizing OneSource compliance software. Maintain 1118 mapping in OneSource tax software
Maintain Foreign tax credit & E&P schedules, and review international tax returns and filings
Review ASC 740 computation, included in international tax packages, prepared by the foreign subsidiaries to ensure compliance with GAAP
Support foreign subsidiaries in their GAAP calculations related to tax
Calculate quarterly and annual international tax provisions for Curtis US, including foreign source income inclusions, foreign tax credit analysis and forecast FTC utilization to avoid valuation allowance
Support Director in responding to documents requests from the IRS and state auditors for international related documentation
Prepare return versus provision federal true up as it relates to the international portion of the return/provision
Calculate foreign income/deduction under Subpart F, GILTI, FDII and BEAT
Assist in implementing, monitoring and documenting global transfer pricing strategy
Ensure agreements exist for all intercompany transactions and create and maintain database
Analyze intercompany transactions and apply sourcing and look thru rules, and determine appropriate expense allocation
Prepare P& L statements for intercompany transactions, analyze transactions to ensure arm’s length exists, using comparable company data, and document
What you need:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, MBA/MS in Taxation a plus, CPA preferred
6 plus years’ experience in public accounting and/or private industry corporate tax department in international tax
Experience in international tax rules, ASC 740, transfer pricing, OneSource Tax Compliance and CCH Research
Working knowledge of US GAAP accounting principles and practices
